birthday
This is something I wrote the other night, but not in my LJ. But with the intention of posting here.

Late night, January 4th:
It is hard to sleep because I am so excited over my birthday. Tonight I went to Bombers with all these people I ilke. Then we went to Valentine's to see Matt and Sue's band, Clever Arms. It was so great! Even though I am sick and could not drink, I think I had the best time I could have, regardless.
These are the people that were there: Sabrina, Carol, Jen, Julie, Brendan, Jehoe, Joe, Sab's friends Mike and Rob, Suzette, Sarah, my cousins Angela and Susie, and my Uncle Dick. I got a free burrito and a drink. Carol was so funny saying all these random things. Ryan O'Connor was working at Bombers! What a stange thing, we used to hang out when we were freshmen, but not so much anymore. He was interesting. We couldn't eat upstairs because it was so busy, but I wasn't expecting to be able to anywya, especially since I couldn't drink.
This was only the second time I have been downstairs at Valentines. When I got there, I was so excited to see Matt on the stage. Susan and Royce have been playing in a band for a long time, but this was Matt's first show and it was thrilling to be there, particulary because it was my birthday. They played about seven songs. During the show I talked to Russ, who was very drunk. It was fun because he was friendly and chatty. He offered to buy me a drink and I wish I could've accecpted.
