Title: In the Beginning.

AN: This is suppose to be set when Logan first came to Neptune, and as we found out in credit where credit is due, Logan liked Veronica when he first moved to Neptune when they were 12.
The chairs in Neptune High’s classrooms were adequate. However you had to sit on them the right way unless you wanted to end up of the floor.
Logan noticed this when in the middle of class he fell onto the ground. Of course being the guy he was, tried to come up with something witty to say but came out with “The seat broke.”
People began to laugh. He didn’t notice the large amount of blood coming from his knee until a girl he noticed around school came to the rescue and told the others to stop laughing.
“I’ll take you to the nurse,” She says, smiling sweetly, and helps him walk to first aid.
“So I’m new.” Logan said, leaning on her.
“I noticed,” She replied, looking him in the eyes, her long blonde hair cascading down her back.
“ You can come hang out with my friends and me during lunch, If you want.”
“I’d like that” Logan replied, smiling and putting out a hand, “I’m Logan Echolls.”
“Veronica Mars.” She grinned.
This might not have not been the best beginning at a new school, but with girls like Veronica at school, things might not be so bad.

“Guess who has a date?” Logan said, walking up to Duncan.
“I don’t know, you?” Duncan replied.
“You guess right, my friend.” Logan tells him, putting a hand on his shoulder.
“So, what’s her name? And what are you doing for the date.”
“Wouldn’t you like to know.”
“ Yes I would. What’s her name?”
“That doesn’t matter, but I’m taking her to dinner.”
“C’mon man, tell me! Is it Jodie?”
“No. Oh, would you look at the time, I have to go do……BYE” Logan ran off to meet Veronica at her locker.
“Hey,” she said smoothly, leaning in to kiss him gently. “How did Duncan take the news of…well us?”
“Well, he kinda thinks I’m going out with Jodie.”
“Who’s Jodie?”
“Some chick I made up in 8th grade, to prove a could have a girlfriend.”
Veronica laughed. “But we have to tell him sometime.”
“I know, just not tonight. As I have a wonderful dinner prepared for us.” He said, putting on a bad Italian accent.
“Oh really?” Veronica replied. As he put his hand into hers and started to walk down the hall. Logan kissed her cheek and whispered, “ I think I'm in like with you."
