“They have another name, eyelashes. That’s how we tell them apart from other hair.” She replied, smirking and nodding at him.
“That, I believe was a blonde moment for me.”
“But you’re brunette. I should be having the blonde moments.” Veronica replied.
They continued walking toward Logan’s locker, ignoring the looks they were getting from Neptune High students.
Logan saw their glares and put an arm around Veronica’s waist, protectively. She looked up at him. He no longer cared what Neptune thought of him.
