Summary: Alice doesn't like Frank's plans.
Word Count: 199
Author's Notes:  This was written for the Justification challenge for nosmutforyou.  We were to show why the members of our favorite pairing belong together in less than 200 words.  This is hard because 200 words doesn't give you a lot of space.

"I don’t want to hear it, Alice. How you haven’t been on a broom since you were pregnant with Neville. How you’re afraid you won’t pass your riding test to return to work. I’m avoiding that conversation.”

Alice rolled over and pulled a pillow over her head. She had never been good on a broom.

“I’ve organized the whole thing. Neville’s going to your mum’s, so I won’t hear from her anymore how my mother gets more time with the grandson. I’m even packing a lunch.”

Alice poked her head out from under the pillow.   “You’re cooking?”

He nodded.

“I suppose I can stand it, if you cook.”

“And here I thought I was being romantic.”

She sat up. The first times they ever spent together alone had been at broom practices. Frank spent entire days teaching her the complicated maneuvers needed to become an Auror.  They’d had a lot of firsts while she learned to fly: first kiss, first I love you, first everything.  The sun was warm, the grass sweet and the memories lovely.

He was smiling.

“Like old times?” Alice asked.

“Like old times.”

“I like that very much.”

Frank leaned over and kissed her.
