So once again I've made a mistake,
Another bad choice that makes my heart ache.

Memories made from a long time ago:

Remember? We wrote it in the snow.

Those days were sweet and all so short.
Just a wrong choice made
When the ball was in my court.
I was young and thought that I knew best.
Wish I'd had someone who could've told me
The rest,
Some all-knowing person to tell me my fate,
Some wisdom, some belief that would've made me wait.

So now I have my life to live,
With a different man and our three kids.
But I often think of those times long ago;
It's how I visit my heart left behind in the snow.
