He’s waiting.

That’s all he ever seems to be doing anymore.

Watch and wait, watch and wait.

He thought it would be different, he thought things would be different, that he would be different.

But it isn’t, he isn’t.

So he continues to watch and wait, each day a flurry of motions and sounds.

He can’t understand them though.

He so desperately wants to though, so he watches and waits.

He waits for the boy who will make everything click, he watches for the boy to come back, because he understands now - if he wants to live, if he wants to be, he has to do it with this boy by his side.

Nothing makes sense when the boy isn’t with him.

And then the boy is next to him again, black hair and burning green eyes and a whisper “Draco,”, and suddenly the world is colorful and full of life and sound and everything is okay again because he’s finally awake again.

And Harry is next to him again.
