Happy 4th of July everyone! My family had our celebration on Saturday, so I'm pretty bored right now. I was gonna go to Ft Lauderdale to see Melissa, but her ship can't come in to port until 8 tonight. And since I have to work early tomorrow morning, it would've been a waste of a trip since right when I saw her I would've had to turn around and come back here. So there went that plan.
The big bags of shingles that are sitting on my parents roof keep falling off. I really shouldn't be laughing because it's bending the heck out of the gutter, but it's just really funny. I was sitting on the recliner watching Oprah and I heard something starting to slide out the roof. At that time, my eye made its way over to the window just in time to see a big bag of shingles fall off the roof. Funniest thing! Yesterday, a couple bags of shingles squished a little palm tree in the front yard. Oh goodness...funny stuff.
Things with the movie have been going well. I ran the Boca Grande office myself last week since Pam had to go back to Ft Lauderdale for the big production meeting. She'll be back this week and then the rest of the crew should start coming in this coming weekend. Then the shooting begins! I hope I'll be able to go down to the set for a little bit. Pam said I would be able to when we were talking about me coming to work for the Boca Grande location, so I hope she was right.
