I finally saw The Dark Knight. It was pretty fucking cool. It was just an amazingly well done movie in everyway. Overall I'm just very impressed.I hear some people got emotional over it, which I did not understand, because I got no connection to Aaron Eckhart. I just didn't feel him most of the movies, but none the less it was amazing. Two-Face's eye reminded me of Mars Attacks! which was weird, but they really didn't sho it much, which I was glad of. I screamed out loud when the guy with joker make-up and a Batman suit who had been hung swung into the window. I realized a few minutes later that this was the first hanging scene I have seen in almost two years that didn't upset me. I thought about it periodically throughout the movie, and will probably continue to do so throughout the night, but I am not overly upset. Normally something like that would have ruined at least the next half-hour of the movie, but I continued to enjoy it. I'm very happy about this, it means I'm getting better, although it may just speak to how amazing this movie was. Only time will tell.
In other news Warped Tour is on Thursday. I'm not that interested in any particular band, but I think it will be a very fun day. I have to go buy my ticket tomorrow and wednesday I'm going to good will to look for a new bathing suit top, because I don't like mine. I warped tour is anything like last year I won't have much else on throughout the day. I have to talk with people about bringing a bad to keep stuff in however, and what we will do with that. Luckily, most of the people I'm going with read my LJ! So let's figure that out real soon.
I will probably start getting ready for Purchase soon. I find out the first week in august who my room mate(s) are and if I'm ina suite, which I hope to god that I am. I'm excited though, it's really the only word I use when I talk about going to school, although no one should mistake that for me being eager to go. I'm not, I'm just excited. I haven't really thought about most of the details yet.
Orientation was last week and was a lot of fun. I really impressed myself by just going up and introducing myself to people. It seems like the only problem I will have is having to be around ciggarettes all the time because EVERYBODY SMOKES. I would say 80% of the people I met smoked, which is C-R-A-Z-Y.
I'm getting ready to buy a laptop. I'm most likely going to get a Dell (a yellow one OMG!), but if anyone has tips or warnings about their laptop experiences I would love to hear them, I want all the info I can get.
I love The White Stripes. I cannot believe how good they are. DONE.
EDIT: FUCK! I'm in a converted triple. This blows majorly.
