So I guess that scooting off home for a bit ain't exactly the most likely thing that's gonna happen. Mum's disappointed, but it's not the first Christmas I've missed, right? Besides, she's got a friend in, and I think she'd enjoy the privacy.
Still, I'm actually really excited about celebrating here; so far it's been fun, though I think the mistletoe is just a little too much. Just saying.

And speaking of a little too much -- y'know I never actually wrote a letter to you when I was younger? Guess I always supposed that if you could see me all the time anyway, you probably had a good idea what I wanted anyway.
But this is taking the place of shopping, since I can't go out and do it myself. I don't need anything.
For Captain Barbossa - A new coat. Not that for a pirate he doesn't dress up a bit, but we don't want his old one getting all ratty, do we? I swear I've only ever seen him wear one thing. So new everything, actually. Give him something to choose from. Also, when we went to Salem he brought back a lot of apples. Replenish whatever kind it was he liked the best.
For the Doctors (All of Them) - God, they're all so different; I wonder if there's anything they all like the same? ...Y'know what? Never mind. I'll make those gifts myself.
For Martha - A new jumper. Something soft and warm. And green! She's got a lot of purple already; the colors go together.
For Armand St Just - A nice new gold pocket watch.
For Sgt Neil Howie - A scarf. Fancy one, too. Red. He'd wear the color well.
For Kay - Something he always wanted as a kid but never got.
For Penthouse Randal - It's gonna be predictable, but I honestly don't know what else he likes that isn't awkward or disgusting, so give him DVDs of the Star Wars movies. Original Trilogy. (...I also heard there was a "Christmas Special"? Throw in a copy of that just to be festive.) And if he hasn't got anything to play them on, throw in the equipment for him to do that, too.
