This isn't really reccing one fic--it's reccing a body of works by an author. (It is not a subtle *coughcough* nudge.)
shediao is the one who won the writing category of the Fluff-o-thon, and the one who suggested it. She's also a very nice person and a very good writer, as is evidenced by the whole winning thing. I feel obligated to rec her fics, because she's only posted two to the comm, and because they're all good reads. (She writes fantastic Akira, and Kyoshiro. Srsly.)
She writes het and gen, of the pre-series persuasion most of the time, but if you're a slash fan, don't let this one pass you by! There's something for everyone!

Assorted characters; uses the old 52_flavours themes. This is some of her best SDK fic, even though it was never finished. This how wonderful this fic is:
"Any shape under the sun - you name it and Achiki will make it for you," she told the tombmarks chirpily, doffing her hat and lighting a pipe. "No boring requests like flowers, though. Ah, I know - how about faces? Whose? Fubuki? The hair would come out right, at any rate. Julian? Perfect. No, no Muramasa - let's go for some variation here."
