If this contest was fluff, how about angst for the next one? XD

I'm not crazy about angst but (this isn't about me) it would be only fair to consider it^^ There would certainly be more entries.

Hmm... I think angst would be a great idea, too. :D Though I'm horrible at drawing it

Wow.
I mean, wow.
Heartfelt thanks to eveyone who voted for me!

And yay, my vote for the fic category won first place! Congrats to blue_hobbit, and chomiji! (and something-or-other?)

And yes, you may vote for yourself, especially when there are so few entries.

I'm shameless, but not that shameless. :)

my vote for the fic category
I meant art category. Bad, bad typo-prone fingers.

First place? Me? Wow... that's just... wow :) Thanks a lot to everyone who voted for me! You guys just gave me the perfect birthday present too.

And congratulations to shediao and chomiji as well (and the unknown something-or-other, of course)! Everyone did such a great job, you made it hard to choose who to vote for.

Thanks again! ♥

Congratulations to you!

I'd like you to know, because it bears saying, that if I had had to cast the tie-breaking vote, I wouldn't have been able to choose between your fic and shediao's.

Awww, how kind!   :-)

This has been a learning experience. Different audiences need different things. I will confess now that I write a fair amount of non-fiction as part of my job, but writing little short human interest articles (usually of the "On This Day in History" type) or user tip sheets is not really like writing fanfic! Shediao has a much better idea of what's needed here, and I have no problem at all with the way the voting came out.
