Akari looked between the two men dumb-foundedly and then to their hands. Their hands, though indefinately men's hands had...
"Pink?"
"Oh, but Akari-chan, pink is the new black!" Yukimura chirped happily, taking the shaman's hands in his.
She pulled her hands away and eyed the other man cautiously. Never in her life had she seen this one comming! "Eh, Shinrei! What do you have to say about this?" Normally she would have just ignored the snobish, overly riteous look on Shinrei's face, but this...this was just laughable.
"I only follow in the traditions layed down by our honorable Fubuki-sama and--"
"But Shin-chan!" She insisted, "Why pink?!"
Blushing, he crossed his arms and tried to maintain as much dignity as he could. "Y-Yukimura-san agrees that this is a very natural color that suits my complexion."
And with that, Akari was left to wonder just how this little "tradition" had started. Not that it was intirely a bad thing...
"Oh, so next month can I come along? I've been meaning to try one of those French manicures!"
