T h e S t o r m

Previously:

He looked up at the night sky. "If it is indeed a dream, I'll always remember it." Jaejoong remarked, looking up at Yunho and smiling into his eyes. “Especially the kiss part.”

"It won't be the last," Yunho assured, taking Jaejoong’s arm and leading his back towards the elevator.

"Promise me?" Jaejoong asked.

"I promise."

The ride down to earth was silent yet noisy from the rain. It hit the window hard, as the drizzle soon turned into a storm. The two had just realized that the umbrella they lacked was in absence, and that there was nothing to protect them from the harsh drops of rain.

The kiss that Yunho gave Jaejoong had tingled his lips, making them paralyzed. His heart was beating frantically, as it pumped the most blood to where Yunho had last touched him.

The two males stepped out into the rain, as Jaejoong tried to shield himself from the beating rainfall.

“Should we wait for the rain to stop?” He asked Yunho quietly, not expecting much of an answer.

Yunho shook his head. “That would be too troublesome.” He looked to Jaejoong sympathetically. “You look cold.” He saw that Jaejoong had only a white button-up shirt on.

Jaejoong nodded as he remembered the warm moment of love that he had shared with Yunho. Suddenly, the cold feeling melted away, as thoughts about his future with Yunho flooded his mind.

“Can we even walk back to hotel with all this rain?” Yunho wondered out loud. They had no umbrella, no warm clothes on, and nothing to protect them from the harsh weather.

Jaejoong sighed. “I would rather not.” He shivered as he swore under his breath. “Damn rain…”

Yunho smirked at Jaejoong’s behavior. He took off his jacket, and positioned it over Jaejoong’s shivering body. The silent trembling stopped, as Jaejoong felt warm all around.

“Yunho… you don’t have to…” Jaejoong saw Yunho had only a short-sleeved t-shirt on. The simple act of kindness made Jaejoong regret not bringing a jacket for himself.

“Don’t take it off.” Yunho’s command was loud and clear.

Jaejoong kept the jacket on as a gift of affection. “Thanks.”

“We should rest in a hotel near here.” Yunho suggested. He pointed to a small hotel a few blocks from the tower. “How about that one? It’s the closest.”

Jaejoong acknowledged Yunho’s idea as he left with him for their destination. The hotel was very average, with only a few floors. However, the boys didn’t complain. They were glad that they actually had a place to rest for the night.

Jaejoong went up to the front desk. “We need a room.” He spoke his Japanese correctly with confidence. The lady looked back at him smiling, and pulled out a booklet and a pen.

“I’m sorry, we seem to have one room left.” The lady looked up from her booklet. “I‘m afraid it only has one bed.” She looked at Jaejoong’s companion in apology. “…I’m very sorry.”

Jaejoong shook his head. “It’s okay.” He murmured back in fluent Japanese. “We’ll share it somehow.”

Yunho was surprised at Jaejoong’s correctly spoken Japanese. He had studied well.

The two received their room key and headed up the elevator to their floor. They searched around for their room, as they finally stumbled upon it at 335. Yunho inserted the key, and walked in with his wet shoes.

The room was ridiculous compared to their former hotel suite. It contained one bed, a small sofa beside it, and a very small bathroom. There was one painting on the wall, and it was of a rose. It hung low above the single bed.

They were alone in hotel room once again. It was a rare moment and although he'd often hoped for it, Jaejoong felt slightly uneasy. Self-control wasn't exactly his strong suit.

Jaejoong was sitting on the bed, as if he was going over the events that happened that day.

"Quit staring at me."

"Hm?" Yunho looked up, his voice came from the sofa he currently sat on.

"I asked you to please quit staring at me." Jaejoong shifted uncomfortably.

"You have a habit for making difficult requests of me." Yunho said smiling at him.

"It's rude to stare, you know."

"I'm not staring, I'm admiring, there's a difference."

"Not to me, there isn't." Jaejoong frowned slightly at him.

"I suppose I will have to find other ways of showing my admiration, then."

He stood up, walked around and sat down next to Jaejoong on the mattress.

"Now, I won't have to stare." Yunho gave Jaejoong a large grin.

Jaejoong laughed at Yunho‘s actions. "You're incorrigible." He whispered, his face flushing slightly.

"Ah, you know me so well." Yunho bent over and kissed Jaejoong’s cheek.

"Stop that," Jaejoong said unconvincingly. Yunho took Jaejoong’s hand and lifted it to his lips, kissed the palm lightly. "Okay," he agreed, turning it over and kissing the back.

"Please," Jaejoong whispered, finally realizing what he was getting himself into. He had just confessed to Yunho a few hours ago, and now, this was happening.

"I hope to please," Yunho said looking up at Jaejoong through his lashes.

He took his hand and placed it against his chest so Jaejoong could feel the thudding of his heart.

"You please me." He said huskily, bending to kiss Jaejoong’s neck.

He lifted his chin to allow Yunho better access to the tender flesh.

Jaejoong closed his eyes and made a small whimpering sound. The vibration against his lips made him moan in return.

"Jaejoong…" Yunho whispered as he gently pushed down the top of Jaejoong’s shirt and skimmed his lips along his collarbones.

"Yes." Jaejoong breathed into his ear. "I'm yours."

Their eyes met and held as Yunho slowly lowered him to the bed.

“Lord, what are they doing?” Junsu hiked around the luxurious room with his cell phone held to his ears. He had dialed Yunho and Jaejoong’s number twenty-three times. “If they don’t come back before morning, we’re going to be dead.” He placed his hand across his throat, motioning to Yoochun that death was coming.

“Maybe they’re in love.” Yoochun suggested.

“Ha ha, veeeerrrry funny.”

“It’s possible.” Yoochun commented.

Junsu dropped the phone. All of a sudden, he was agitated. “What are you, crazy?” He looked at the discreet Changmin, who wasn‘t speaking a word. They were all gathered in Junsu and Yoochun’s suite, trying to incorporate why the two members hadn’t returned yet.

“I believe so, too.” Changmin nodded at Yoochun. “Love is a crazy thing.”

Junsu rolled his eyes. “HA! As if those two idiots would be in love!” The thought of them being in deep affection made Junsu chuckle.

“Then what do you think they’re doing?” Yoochun asked, wanting to demonstrate that Junsu was in fact wrong.

“How should I know…?” He answered, showing off his high-class charisma.

“Usually, when people are in love, they stay out all night and don’t bother to return to a place like this.” Changmin wanted to give the irritated Junsu a brief lecture. “Think about it clearly, Hyung.”

Junsu relaxed into the leather sofa. “We’re dead, dead, dead…” He trailed off, as if he was sobbing. “I’ll never be able to play soccer ever again!”

Yoochun placed a hand on Junsu’s shoulder. “We shouldn’t be worrying about Sang Joon’s punishments, yet.” He explained. “We should be worrying about Jaejoong and Yunho’s safety.” He looked out the window at the dark night. The rain made the city seem even more frightening.

The three sighed in unison. They were worried sick.

A knock was placed on the door. The three males jumped, and opened the door, wondering if the two missing members had returned.

Changmin opened the door. “Hyung! You’re finally back! We were so worried-”

The door was fully opened to reveal that not Jaejoong or Yunho, but Da Young was standing in their view.

She had her hand on the doorway, and a chilling expression on her face. “Where. is. Yunho. and. Jaejoong?” She asked word for word, making herself obvious and clear.

The three members shrugged. “To be honest…“ They were nervous and tense about the answer. “We really don’t know.”

Da Young sighed. She had a apprehensive expression on her face. She understood that Tokyo was a scary place at night. After all, the enormous city had all sorts of people roaming on its land.

“Just because I’m covering for you guys doesn’t mean I’m going to let you off the hook.” She took in a deep breath. “Have you tried calling them?”

Junsu nodded. “Yes, about twenty times or so…” He looked up. “But no one answered.”

Da Young looked uneasy. “What could’ve happened to them?” After some consideration, her face cleared up, as if a light bulb had lit up in her head. “Maybe… they’re in love…”

Junsu rolled his eyes. “You too?”

Da Young agreed. “Why exactly did they leave?”

“Yunho told me that he wanted to talk to Jaejoong privately.” Yoochun confirmed. “He also told me the hotel wasn’t an appropriate place to tell it.”

A bright beam suddenly appeared on Da Young’s face. “I’ve got it!”

The members observed Da Young curiously as they waited for her theory to be told. Instead, Da Young stood up abruptly, and walked towards the exit of the room.

She looked back. “Get some sleep and don’t worry about Yunho and Jaejoong.” She opened the door. “Those two can take care of themselves, trust me.” She nodded, and walked out the door.

The three members were left in silence. Wondering what her words truly meant.

There was nothing but the gentle sounds of sleep coming from Jaejoong now. Outside, a summer storm had begun, the soothing sounds of the rain attempted as lullaby that sang them to sleep.

Yunho stared into the blankets, sleep invading him in spite of it. He closed his eyes. Remembering...

"What do you want?" Whispered Jaejoong, his eyes wide, locked into Yunho.

Jaejoong’s face held a confusing mixture of need, anticipation and lust. Yunho wondered briefly if his own face held a similar expression.

"Nothing you do not wish to freely give." Yunho replied, looking down into Jaejoong’s gray eyes. Yunho lightly stroked the side of his neck, then placed a gentle kiss under Jaejoong’s ear.

"Then what will happen?" Jaejoong asked, putting his finger against Yunho’s lips.

He lifted his head. "What promises do you want from me, Jaejoong?"

"To say you'll stay with me as long as you live. I won't ask for what you cannot give."

Yunho closed his eyes, swallowing hard. "That I can promise you."

"I wish to make a promise to you also." Jaejoong said, taking Yunho’s face firmly between his own hands.

"What is it?" Yunho murmured, lowering his eyes.

"I promise to love you forever. Because I can."

Jaejoong kissed him passionately while Yunho took his hand and placed it under Jaejoong’s shirt, on top of his wildly beating heart.

Reaching down and unbuttoning his shirt, Jaejoong revealed his muscular but soft body.

Yunho gazed upon him for long seconds and then lowered his mouth to claim his gift.....

Yunho snapped out of his earlier memories and closed his eyes. "What a night…" he whispered to himself. Turning to the still sleeping Jaejoong he pulled him close, burying his head into Jaejoong’s naked shoulder. He stirred briefly then unconsciously melded into his warmth. Erotic images of Jaejoong convulsed and gasping with passion beneath him flooded his mind as he held him tight.

"Yunho…?" Jaejoong muttered sleepily.

"It's all right, go to sleep," He said, stroking Jaejoong’s hair.

"You're awake?" He said, turning within his embrace to face him.

"Are you all right?" Jaejoong eagerly asked.

Yunho smiled gently, "I should be asking you that question."

Jaejoong blushed and smiled faintly. "I feel..." he shook his head slightly.

"I don't know the right word. It's too much."

"I know."

"Don't stay up all night thinking, Yunho. I‘m afraid that this dream might come to an end."

Yunho grinned at Jaejoong‘s ridiculous comment. "I think you can leave off the whole ‘dream‘ now. This is dead reality." Yunho confirmed, leaning over to kiss Jaejoong’s earlobe.

"It's a habit," Jaejoong replied, pressing against him passionately and kissing him playfully on the nose. "But one I would be happy to give up."

Yunho closed his eyes and exhaled deeply, finally relaxing as Jaejoong stroked his hair. Gradually their breathing became even as they slept entwined together.

I’m just going to be honest with you guys. I tried to make this chapter smutty, but I failed. In my original file, I had more detail and words explaining the scenes… but they disappointed me yet again. T_T The smutty part was therefore deleted, and it was replaced with more “mellow” details.

I’m bad a writing lemons. Period.

It turned out horrible. You guys don’t want to read the original version.

Somehow, a part of me regrets deleting the original. Now the smutty part has become too fast… and dull. It would’ve been better for more clearer details.

Are you guys disappointed of the level of the smut? Me too.

I’m sorry for my blabbing, you can comment now~

As for my “silent readers,” I don’t think it would hurt you much to comment. I would also sincerely like to know what you think about the story. Comments make my day better, and make me smile… so, please comment, if you can!

And to the people who do comment, thanks for the wonderful encouragement!

Please tell me what you thought of that part!

~Cindy
