Hi Ann,

James Earnest has created some great stuff… even the free games on the Cheapass website are grand.

Are there any of the particular 'flavours' of Risk that you favour?

The only one I've given a shot is the traditional old school risk. Tho the ww2's look really good and the 2020 or whatever? The one that looks all spacey? I think that was risk.

I'm mid-way through a two-player game of the "Lord of The Rings" version (we usually string a game out by only playing a few moves each over a couple of days).

My girlfriend is playing the bad guys, I am getting my arse kicked and Tolkein is getting a serious re-write.

It is fun, though (and the game does look gorgeous).

I'm not sure if it's a risk based version or a stand alone video to board game tie in. But it was some kind of Age of Mythology kind of deal going on, and the box looked risk-ish. Wouldn't mind giving that one a spin.
