I know you've been generous with dates but I don't see any to go with the first round? And the amnesty period? Just wondering!

The timeline is on the profile page.

February - May 2011 : Round 1
Sign-ups start : February 1
Posting begins : February 14
And ends : May 31

The Amnesty Period begins June 1 and will end before next round starts. It's a little soon to tell. Dates are subject to change depending on how things go, meaning I might consider ending round 1 in mid or late June.

I probably shouldn't be looking at this when I've got things like final-year projects to finish, but whatever!

Do we have to use the same medium right the way through or can we use a mixture - like a picspam for one prompt and a fic for another?

I chose to focus on original writing and art, which wasn't allowed in all the bingo communities I checked before starting this one. I was aware that it would put off a lot of people. I'm sorry if that's your case.

Ah. Okay...I'm still not sure why that means RPF isn't allowed. Why does one necessarily have to preclude the other, when you are allowing fanfiction?

Sorry to be a pain, it's just a rule that makes absolutely zero sense to me.

I understand. It's one of those rules that generally have to be explained. The only other reason I could think about is that I'm not comfortable with it. I'm sorry, I don't know what else to tell you.

Can we post the stories elsewhere before posting them all together here? Like, if I write one, can I post it at my writing comm, and then once I write a whole line or whatever, post the links here? Or do I need to wait until I have all of them done?

(I've never participated in a bingo comm, ack. I'm not entirely sure how this works, and I didn't see anything about this in the rules.)

The community is just the place where to link back your creative content. Write at your own pace, and when you're ready, post the links here. So, to answer your question, you don't have to wait until you've written everything to post in the community.

And if you've got more questions, don't hesitate to ask. Remember it's a game, it should be fun!
