So this weekend has been pretty damn lovely, if I do say so myself.I got to meet some lovely friends of mine and hang out at the mall, eat dinner, etc. So that was super fun since they're only in NJ for a little while longer.
The marriage equality bill passed in New York! This is incredibly exciting and I know that this is the pathway towards future, total and encompassing equality. I truly believe someday, hopefully sooner rather than later, there will be social acceptance of everyone. And as everyone has been saying, it's such a lovely thing to come right around pride! <3
Today I'm headed off to Philly to see the Next to Normal tour and I'm insanely excited. This show has been a true blessing to me and has helped me through so many rough patches. I am forever indebted to its lovely creators and the talented people who have portrayed each role. Also ALICE FUCKING RIPLEY I MEAN COME ON!
On random notes:
-man, think about all the people who are now engaged and are going to finally get the chance to have a big, white wedding if they so choose. I awkwardly spent like an hour looking at engagement rings this morning, as if I had someone to ask haha NO, but! it must be a pain in the ass to try and find the perfect ring for someone. like shit. but I hope that someday I'll enjoy that absurdly grueling process for when I get to propose to the person that I love (and/or vice-versa)
-why do I so completely relate to my zodiac sign. goddammit. I am SUCH a libra. Minus the flirtatious attitude and charm, of course. I am too awkward to be charming.
-I love personality tests (ex. INFP, INTP, ENSJ, etc) I cannot for the life of me remember which I allegedly am. I think that when I first took the test, I scored as an INTP, but looking at the characteristics, I'm pretty sure that I'm INFP. What do you guys think about these/do you know what you are?
I hope to catch up a bit on here over the course of the next week, but until then, have an amazing weekend! <3
