First I will say I totally already typed out this entry but my computer was masturbating or something and lost it. I hate everything. Not really. Happy thoughts. I saw the Faint last night. It was incredible. It was the most fun I've had in a long, long time, and marks the first time I've ever danced in public. I'd normally be too worried about looking retarded, but there was this girl. With this...hair. And she was a terrible dancer. And her hair assaulted Cait. This isn't the point. I think.
So right. Beep Beep was first. They were wonderful. The guitarist with the woman's sweater and these Mary-Jane-ish shoes...he was my hero. Third hero, actually, as the first two are in the Faint. The lead singer kept having these spasms/seizures. It was good stuff. Then the Fever, who I think I really liked. I say think only because I could barely hear the singer, but the band was great. Then. Then. Then. The Faint. It was totally amazing. One thousand times better than I expected. The crowd was insane, but fun insane, not annoying insane, except that one man/woman who beat me up to get to the front. It was smelly. But it left. So that's nice. But, um, yeah, they sound even better live, and all the songs on the new CD I never really liked, I now adore. It was seriously wonderful. And the guitarist, and synth...guy. They're my fucking heroes. Especially synth guy. He should rule the planet, swear to Jeezus.
