Art Dump

I decided I needed to procrastinate studying a math test, and I did promise to upload the picture of Toki that I colored. So, while I was at it I just went ahead and scanned in some of my sketchbook pages so that you guys could see how I work (very crappily). None of them are very good but I like them anyway, so here they are.

I hate putting cuts on my private journal but I will for your sake.

This is a picture I did while sorta thinking about Mucha. It is supposed to portray the idea of caffein as a drug (I swear to god I go into withdrawal without it).

Just messing around with an idea for a character I had.

I am reading Hamlet and I decided that I really like this image as Ophelia.

This is a picture of my planner (which is also where I write down a lot of my ideas and things I like) just for the hell of it.

Another character I've been playing with. It's name is Rifka and it is a spirit of ill luck.

I don't really know what I am going to do with this yet. I might take it into photoshop and draw Nathan leaning over him (Toki).

A preliminary for a cultural work I have to do for school. I am going to paint a geisha put parts of it will be realistic and parts will be in the style of Japanese woodblock prints. I am pretty pshyched about it.

Finally, the picture that I promised. I was trying out a new painting stylye. This is Toki Wartooth from Metalocalypse. I have another headshot of him down further on the page. I just colored this one though. The wonderful lineart I got from Hallokatzchen.

Well, that is it for now. I think that's the most you've seen from me in one post.
