New Metalocalypse preview

So, I watched the new Metalocalypse preview, the one for Dethkids. I almost cried when Toki's mom slapped him. Like, for real, because I love Toki so much....For some reason though I wasn't really shocked that much because his parents really do look pretty scary.

During math today (...heh, heh, heh...) I was pondering why Toki's mother slapped him and I wrote down a whole bunch of things that I thought about Toki's past and eventually I ended up pondering how Toki actually got into Dethklok. My thoughts on these topics (transfered EXACTLY from the front inside cover of my math book)follow.

What did Toki do that provoked his scary-ass mother to slap him? Did he use a curse word that al the other kids were saying? Did he say that he wanted to be in a rock band (or even worse, a metal band)? Did he renounce thier religion?

How did Toki get so good at playing? Did his parents actually allow him to play electric guitar in the house (did they even have electricity?) or did he start by playing an acoustic guitar and just got good enough so that when he eventually moved away the logical next step was to start playing electric guitar? Maybe Dethklok was already forming and they somehow heard Toki playing and realized his talent.

Did Toki leave home when he was young and live with a friend or something? How did he join Dethklok? Was there a chance meeting between Toki and Skwisgaar and somehow Skwisgaar heard Toki play an acoustic guitar in a way that was so completely brutal that Skwisgaar felt pretty much pbligated to bring him to the other band member's attention. Skwisgaar let Toki jam out on one of his guitars and it was so completely awesome that everyone was pretty much blown away. They asked him to stick around and be rythym guitarist. Toki was ecstatic because he wanted to have some friends and he really liked to play the guitar and he wanted to get away fron his parents.

Skwisgaar met Toki in Sweden and then felt so strongly about Toki's musical ability that he brought Toki with him back to whatever the band's headquarters was back then. Toki was willing (if not eager) to go with him because he immediatlye categorized Skwisgaar as his best friend (even though Skwisgaar was actually a little mean to him). Toki just hasn't had many friends before so it's sorta a novelty for him. The band ends up hiring him as soon as they hear him play.

....Well, that's the end of my massive Toki ramble. This is what I do in math. I should be failing. For real.

toki, metalocalypse
