What are the kids gonna talk like in another ten years? I mean, I remember being in middle school where everything was "gay".
"You're gay", "that's gay", "he's so gay", "I can't believe you say that gay shit".
Am I right? Do you remember this too? Or was this just a phenomenon at the school I went to? Every other word out of my mouth was "like".
"I was all like, you can't say that to me cuz like it's not cool."
WOW! I hope my kids don't talk like that. I'm sure they will, but I can at least hope. I just wonder what kind of dumb things they'll be saying. I can't even imagine.
I do miss those days though. The times that you could act like a complete idiot and feel like you were the coolest person in the room. How did that work? Who cares? It was the way things were and it was always good enough for everyone else to believe it too. As I remember it... Highschool was much the same, but instead of acting like an idiot and thinking you were cool... It didn't matter how cool you tried to act, you always ended up feeling like an idiot.
