Happy 4th of July!!!
Wow haven't updated this thing in awhile. I tried to update when I got home from TGIFridays with the work crew last night, but PRIMO decided to walk on my keyboard and somehow he hit some key that erased everything. AND I was too tired to rewrite it. Oh well. Gotta love that darn cat...
Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful 4th of July!! Of course I'm working, as usual, for like the 8th day straight. But Universal usually has some pretty cool fireworks so that will be okay. I can't wait for tomorrow!!! I'm going to visit Christin and Shane in Fort Myers for about a week. How awesome is that!! I miss her so much. I just hope my little old car makes the trip.
Mom is sad I'm leaving for a few days. She is going through a sad time right now. One of her really good teacher friends just passed away on Friday morning to cancer. The lady was a breast cancer survivor of like 15 years and the doctors didn't tell her it spread to her brain. They wanted her to live out her life peacefully. She called my mom last week to tell her she was dying. At the funeral yesterday everyone wore pink in her honor. The saddest part is that her daughter is only 21 years old. She is a UCF student and dancer. During her Eulogy she talked about how her mother and her were so close that they would sing "You are my sunshine" in the car, call eachother everyday when she moved out, and hold hands for comfort when they needed it wherever they went. My mom and I have that kind of relationship so it really hit home to us. This past year has been scary with mom's health. I'm just not ready to lose either of my parents and hopefully that day wont come anytime soon.
