Last night, I bought a boy!
Last night was the senior auction and I had all intention of just going and watching the event, but I did a stupid thing, and stopped by the ATM before I left...just in case I needed it (wink, wink). I really did NOT intend on spending it! The first person up for bidding was Mike Greer. Now Mike is probably the most sought out STRAIGHT musical theatre senior here, and the bidding went up to about $15 then stopped. He is definitely worth more than that, so I bid $20.... Now, I am not one of the girls here who has pined over him this whole year, I think he's really hot and very talented, but no real crush or anything. 70 dollars later...he's mine! I can't explain what came over me, or my arm for that matter, but I just went with it! Auctions are so intense and invigorating!!! Mike auctioned himself off for not one, but TWO whole days of WHATEVER the person who won him wanted. So, I don't know for sure what we will be doing or when, but it will be a lot of fun. He seems like a really cool guy so I'm going to enjoy just getting to know him.
On another note, my dad is coming on Saturday and I can't wait to see him and introduce him to all my friends here! He is going to be taking Jared and I out to lunch when he gets here, then coming back to tour the dorms and do the meet-n-greet thing. My step-mother and him will then head over to the Pirates game leaving me to to have a night of PARTYING!!! Then I'm seeing HAIRSPRAY with them at the Benedum Center on Sunday afternoon. This weekend should be so much fun!!!
