Valentine's Day Recap
Sorry it's a little overdue, but I have been so busy and haven't had time to update. To recap... Saturday night there was a Valentine wine party over at 2010 (Andi, Hillary and Ben's place...along with others). Andi went all out on homemade decorations and baking, and her and Hillary were dressed in matching red bridesmaids dresses from like the late 1980's or so. They were quite a site! The get-together was pretty small, which was nice, but there were enough people to have a little dance party!! Anyways...I had a lot of fun, and Ben and I bonded that night! Since he didn't have plans for Monday night (Valentine's Day), I asked him if he would be my valentine, to which he excitedly accepted. We were quite buzzed from the massive amounts of wine we had consumed, so I called him on Sunday to see if he was serious about making plans for valentine's day. He said he was and I told him I wanted to plan something special then because I wanted him to have a wonderful valentine's day.
As most of you know, I LOVE to plan things out for people! The wheels started turning late Sunday night, and with the 2 hours I had between work and classes, I bought everything! Here's the set up... I planned a pizza picnic, and laid a blanket out on the floor of my dorm room to which we ate pizza and Mountain Dew (his favorite soda). I had gone to CVS and bought the last 2 boxes of Junior Mints (his favorite candy) and used them as a weight to a Valentine's Day balloon I had gotten. I also made a Valentine card out of construction paper (was really cute). It read..."Roses are red, Violets are blue...My Valentine's Day is great, because I get to spend it with you!" I had also purchased a carnation that we were selling her at school. I put all his goodies on my bed, and sprinkled Hershey Hugs&Kisses around it. We watched "That's So Raven," then we watched sappy love clips from "My Best Friends Wedding." We then just hungout with some other people for a while, then watched "The Notebook." I have no comment on that at this time. To sum it up, we ended up staying up all night talking, part of the time with other people, then just the two of us, till about 3:30am.
I had such a great time that night. Ben is one of the sweetest guys here at Point Park, and probably one of the hottest!!! Too bad he's gay :-( I guess it doesn't really matter, because he says we're going to get married and have lots of babies!!! hehe ....LOVE BEN!!!!
Now, I'm just getting back to focusing on school for the next week and a half, then it's off to ATLANTA for spring break! I will be in Atlanta from Feb. 25-Mar.1, then I'm coming home till early Monday, March 7. I am looking forward to this break, I hope it will be better than winter break. Alex and I are going to go dorm shopping, which I'm very excited to do!
Time for me to get to bed...I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow! Nite
