Shall We Dance?
This week has felt like it has been dragging on forever...and it's only Wednesday :-(!
Yesterday was my first day of work with my new apprenticeship. We took a Point Park shuttle to the school we'll be working at. The facility is really nice, and I am so excited about working with the great people I've met. After touring the school, we took the shuttle to the Cultural Arts center in the area we will be working. The place is under renovation, and we were freezing, as it was only about 10 degrees out with a windchill of below 0. We walked around the empty building unitl we were about to become snowpeople, then the director of the program treated us to anything at WENDY'S...she is soo nice! Got a little food and headed back to campus. I ended up hanging out with a bunch of people and played Battle of the Sexes again in Jared's room with Julie, Julia, Adam, Caroline, Shane, Alex, and obviously Jared. We were all laughing SOOOO loud!! Note to females: If you want to win quickly, don't play with gay men (hehe)!
Today felt like it was never going to end. Classes starting at 3:30pm will do that to a person. I'm a little overwhelmed with the work this semester, but maybe if I actually start some of it...it will help. This evening, I went down to the ballroom for the movie showing of "Shall We Dance." It was a cute movie, but nothing wonderful. It was fun to just relax and hangout with friends....giggling, and aawwwing :-)
Well, that about sums it up. I apologize for this entry being so boring, but I wanted to be sure to keep the LJ up to date. Hopefully something exciting will happen this weekend!!!!
