i went to school today at approximately 10:00, and didn't get into any of my classes until approximately 1:00. it took that long to register. ok yeah, my aunt told me there were 600 kids...ha!try 3000. it was twice the size of our school, and it was 2 stories high. AAAAHHHH! scary! there are 3 lunches, a, b, and c. i have b lunch. b lunch people go to class, and in the middle of it go to lunch, and then go back to finish that class. the schedule is pretty much like middle school, except you have all 7 classes, all day long, every day. each class only lasts 45 minutes. i miss the oshs schedule. poo.
i came in at c lunch, so i ate some pretzels and drank some lemonade. (yes, they have vending machines, and they are turned on at lunch too) i tried to ask these 2 people if i could sit with them, but before i could finish asking them, they just turned around and walked away. therefore, i ate alone on the floor in the hallway. people in class were a lot nicer, though. (thankfully!)
when i went home, my aunt just told me that they're all pretty discriminative against weird people, and they're very concerned with "clicks". basically, they're all assholes. but that's ok. there's bound to be a few weirdos, and it will be fun to mess with the norms. i'll just follow in sabrina's footsteps. she got most unique in the school yearbook. she invented "foreign friday" where she would dress up like a person from a different country every friday. i thought that was extravagant!
there was a cute guy in my world history class, and he seemed pretty interested in me. he was one of the only people who came up and talked to me, and he was on the other side of the room, so he really had to make an effort. i also noticed that every time i looked up, he was staring at me, which kind of freaked me out, but that's ok, cuz he seemed cool. he shook my hand. that was interesting. unfortunately, i forgot his name. haha. i'll figure it out some time. maybe i should go up and talk to him tomorrow...unless, of course, there's even cuter guys in my other 5 classes that i missed. hehe. it's a big school, so you never know.
