Even with her position as royalty, Amelia had never been pressured into courtship for the sake of status. Her father said it would unjust to force her into things, and wanted her to make her own choices in that regard. That had all worked out well, considering she did care for someone. Even though she had to make excused to cross the border into the neighbouring kingdom, it was worth it to spend her time with the man she had easily found herself falling for.
Fate however, had a cruel streak it seemed, making her so happy only to quickly dash that joy at the peak of he elation. Just before she could tell people the wonderful news, war had been declared, any anyone from the neighbouring land was now an enemy. It had left her in a melancholic state for some time, but after the tears had dried up, she had made her choice.
They weren't to know of the political turmoil going on at the time. All the commotion had broken out after they had met, it had nothing to do with their relationship. Why should they be forced to be miserable just because the powers over them couldn't settle simple differences?
So there she was, watching the moon rise higher in the sky above, checking the guards on patrol had gone by, before tossing a rope ladder off the balcony. Hopefully the letter had reached him, and he would be on time to get up to her before anyone noticed anything supicious. After all, the needed to talk, though considering how difficult things would surely become, Amelia had thought about possibly doing more than that if needed.
All looks good to me!charge_swordDecember 12 2011, 14:32:08 UTC
The knight had always been a strange one. Aside from being unusually talented in combat, enough that he was considered a hero, he had never really experienced loyalty. Even though he had done nothing but follow the orders of his country his entire life it had only been because he had known nothing else. Orders to kill dragons, giants, demons...He'd fought and fought until he'd been called a living legend. Eventually he was given orders to act as body guard for a visiting princess and things had changed. After a life time that had sealed his heart away, had erased all his feelings to the point that he didn't recognised the word anymore, meeting Amelia had been like being born again.
And with his heart finally beating he had chosen to follow it over duty. He had avoided coming to her right away in order to prevent putting her in danger. But when he had recieved word, he'd set out immediatly. With his skill and a little support, sneaking to her hadn't been too difficult so far, but this was the hard part. He'd had a few near misses, but he had finally arrived, clad in that light weight armour he always wore. Pulling the ladder up behind him, he dropped to a knee (putting them about the same level thanks to his extreme height). "This knight humbly greets Princess Amelia."
It didn't help that Amelia was rather small for her age anyway, so he still loomed over her somewhat, even when kneeling. It was no wonder he had been made her bodyguard, even with her protests that she could take care of herself. She had never been more glad for the assumption that as a princess she couldn't fight. Otherwise, she never would have found this much happiness.
And then he spoke.Even with all the turmoil going on around them, knowing the risk they were taking, she couldn't stop herself from smiling at him as she heard those words.
"I keep telling you, just Amelia is fine. There's no one here but us." she replied, clearly endeared by the address. Still, she didn't wish for them to worry about titles tonight. She just wanted him to think of her as she was, not a princess, but a girl who wanted nothing more right now than to be near him.
"Come in, before the patrols come back." she said, ushering him to follow her into the bed chamber, before she closed and locked the balcony doors. Once that was done, she turned back to her knight, looking more solemn than before. "I suppose I don't need to explain why I asked you to come."
"...Of course...Amelia." Despite saying such a simple thing as her name, there was something between awe and embarassment in his voice. He'd never had anyone who wanted him to call them by their name before. Before now everyone he came into contact with was either above his station and thus referred to by a title or an equally nameless entity. He rarely spoke to anyone anyway, let alone had any connections or friends. Saying her name without a title was practically a term of endearment.
Regardless, he obediently followed her directions to enter the room, the red raiment he wore swishing elegantly around him. It was large enough that it draped almost onto the floor unless he tangled it into his arms, and it perfectly matched his eyes and hair. And those red eyes slipped around the room to take in as many details as he could. As another first, he had never been in a woman's room, let alone his beloved's. "I thought as deeply as I could, but in the end I couldn't imagine what you would say."
Obviously he knew the catalyst of the meeting, but he really couldn't guess at what she would say. He could never predict anyone's feelings. He dreaded that she meant this to be a good-bye.
That contrast was all too endearing, that someone considered so strong and unwavering could still get a little worked up over a simple thing like a name. The tone of his voice made her smile hopelessly, even with the looming problems they were going to have to address. Even though she would have been happy to watch him a little longer as he stood in her room, the princess knew the sooner they talked, the better.
"Mainly I just wanted to ask if you had any idea what we could, or should do now." she replied, walking closer to him. Without thinking, her hand reached for his, fingers brushing over his knuckles before gripping the hand tight, as if scared he would disappear. Honestly, for all her persistance, wanting to be strong and facing this, it didn't stop her shaking a bit at the possible outcome of this war, for them and for everyone around them.
"I think it's best we establish what we want first though. I know...I'm willing to try anything if it means we can be together." she replied, large blue eyes shining with both honesty, love and unshed tears.
The nameless man was completely silent as she spoke. His confusion was clear on his face, a bizarre innocence to his features. He simply didn't have the life experience to comprehend many things that occurred in the world-he had been made as little more than a mindless doll intended to fight until he broke. So what if he happened to be a doll that endlessly stood up to fight some more? He didn't understand a thing.
And that was why everything he said could be taken as a pure truth, right from the heart. When her hand entered his, he delicately wrapped both of his around hers and once more lowered himself onto a knee. His eyes were closed, his head tilting one way and the other as if he was trying to manually shuffle the words into the right direction. "I want you. Nothing else in the whole world matters to me in the slightest."
In truth, his love was quite obsessive. An endless force that would stop at nothing in order to achieve it's singular goal; her. "If it's here or at the very edge of the world where no one else can go. So long as it's me and you."
Needless to say, it had been her to do most of the talking when they had met. She had worried at first she was babbling too much, and that the silence was a sign that he found her to be a silly airheaded princess. Of course, over time that had changed. He might not have spoke too much, but when he did, they were words worth more than any long winded speech she listened to in the royal court. There was never an agenda, just his honest words. She could only hope that she hadn't manipulated him into all this unwittingly.
Of course, his answer eased those fears, knowing he wouldn't lie to her. Clutching his hands tighter, she moved in close, free hand reaching out to gently touch the side of his face in a tender fashion. She could feel her heart beating faster, knowing she would never regret this, no matter the outcome.
"I can talk to Daddy in the morning, I'm sure he'll listen if I explain." she replied, hesitating briefly. She took a deep breath, trying to will herself to speak with stumbling over the words. While not explict, there was no doubt that there was more than a simple meaning the request. That was another thing, it was a request, not an order. She wanted to be sure this was something they both wished for, just as much as they both wished to not be parted by war. "So...will you stay the night?"
There could be no way of knowing if he had unwittingly fallen into her feelings and become overwhelmed. He was as he was. Aside from a yearning for a name and a desire to be with her he was fine being himself. Indeed, his want for a name had been born once he had met her. Beforehand he could not have cared less, embracing the pointlessness of his existence.
He tipped his head towards her hand, his eyes remaining sealed shut for that moment. A deep breath flowed into his lungs and left again with a perfectly content sigh. Even in the midst of sorrow and hardship, her touch and love caused his lips to curl up beyond his control or even knowledge. He hadn't smiled once before he had felt both. "If you will allow me to," he replied as his bright red eyes opened. It was half his attempt at humour, well aware that she wanted him there and to tease at their relationship, the way he still saw them as a princess and a knight as well as something more. It was something he was aware of. What he wasn't aware of was what staying the night might fully mean, still quite innocent regarding such things, even if he was aware of the mechanics and currently experiencing a budding sexuality. Since meeting Amelia he had begun to notice women's figures in a different light, and had a particular fondess for a shapely rear. He still didn't know why, exactly.
There might not have been certainty, but if she was making the knight happy, then that was enough. He deserved to have more reason to smile, and to enjoy life for more than just duty and have more reason to fight than simple obedience. That was why she wished to leave him the option to choose a name, if he wanted one. Forcing one on him would feel wrong, but he did deserve one. Perhaps tonight, as they made their decisions, it was the ideal time.
Smiling back, she let her fingers stroke across his skin, loving the feeling beneath her fingers and seeing his lips turn up with an expression of happiness. Even the teasing was a welcome sign to her that there was more to them being together that for the sake of their roles. "I want you to...and I want to make the most of it."
It probably didn't help much that, while petite, Amelia was fairly well endowed in her figure, and the formal dresses she wore likely made those curves all the more obvious. Now, even more so as she pressed her small frame against him, head tilting in close until she was just a breath away. Her face was rather flushed, not used to being so forward, but doing her best to not let her nerves get the better of her, lips gently brushing against his, the small breath between them allowing her to speak. "How far...do you want to take this?"
Strangely enough, the knight hadn't ever even considered the possibility of naming himself. It just seemed completely alien to him. Swords and shields didn't name themselves. They received names from the people who valued them.
The knight took a deep breath at the feel of her lips and had begun to attempt a kiss back before she moved a hair's breadth away in order to speak. The question was simultaneously painstakingly difficult and the easiest of all time. Calculating carefully, he answered by simply slipping his hands free from hers and instead placing them softly on her waist. With a soft tinkling noise, the gauntlets he wore disintegrated so that his hands could touch her directly. Only small bands around his wrists remained, perfectly fused with his skin, exactly the same as the small metallic strips merged into his face. Once he had her in his gentle grip he moved her a fraction closer and just kissed her, directly on the lips. It was a quiet and soft thing, but endlessly passionate.
She may have valued him enough to give him a name, but the love she felt insisted it would be like treating him as a pet, not a person, least of all the one she wanted to spend her life with. Perhaps at some point they really needed to talk about the matter, but not now. There were much more important things to think of, or more specifically, feel at that moment.
At first, on feeling his hands pulled back, she worried he thought it best that they wait longer, or that he didn't want to go that far anyway. Of course those doubts disappeared as he laid his hands on her waist, pulling her close. She visibly shivered at the sensation of the touches, spine curving to pressing his palms, just to revel in the action.
Still, that was easily beat when he kissed her, initially startling her with how forward he was being. It didn't take long until the melted against him, clinging tight as muffled mews escaped her throat and vibrated against her lips, mouth opening instinctively as she contined to moan softly in pleasure, trying her best to return that passion. Her fingers tangled in his hair, small form pressing into his chest, more than happy to submit and feel everything he had to give.
Despite how little he wanted the moment to end, the knight remained unsure of where to go from here. He had merely desired to show her that he was absolutely devoted beyond words ability to express. Regardless of his uncertainty of what to do next, some part of him must have been aware of what direction they were travelling as his armour continued to reduce itself to nothingness. Spreading from his wrists back to his shoulders, the same light tinkling noise as it faded away to reveal pale and muscular arms. At his shoulders and spreading across his chest was another sign of his unnatural origin, red markings with an odd texture almost identical to the red raiment he wore, as if it were replacing his skin.
Carefully he released her from the grip of his hands, and a moment later his lips, taking a deep breath. By now his torso was completely exposed, a mingling of natural and unnatural, his abs completely normal and exceptionally sculpted. He had not made any audible signs of pleasure, but the way his face glowed and his skin prickled made it clear he was enthralled. "Amelia..." he murmured softly, as if that helped things in any way.
Well, he had certainly succeeded in what message to get across. Amelia not only found herself aware of just how devoted he was to what they shared, but felt her own nervousness and reservations slip away with ease. There was no reason to doubt, when it felt this right. As he drew back, she could help but admire the view before her. She might have been more curious about the marks if not for the circumstances. Currently, all she could do was stare in awe.
After a brief hesitance, one hand reached out and rested over his chest, right were his heart would be. Her fingers traced light patterns across his skin, tracing those unusual but beautiful markings, at least she thought they were. Then again, she doubted she could find anything about him she didn't like.
Hearing her name, seeing that expression, worry evaporated, ahs did not waste time in taking his hand, walking backwards towards the bed. Her eyes never left his, even as she stepped back as her hands set to work, unlacing the ties of the dress, loosening it more and more until the gown fell into a big puddle of fabric at her feet with the softest of rustles. Now in in only her underclothes, which consisted of a corset, slip and underwear, her small arms wrapped around his torso, lips pressing a small kiss to his chest before looking up at the knight. "I trust you, so...do what feels right."
His heart beat steadily but powerfully under her fingers, the almost 'M' shaped red smooth but tough to touch, and slightly warmer than the rest of his skin.
He completely obediently followed her lead, rising from knee to follow behind her. As he did the boots of his armour followed suit with the rest, disappearing in small squares at a time, almost like a crystal formation being created in reverse. It had reached his knees before it revealed more of the unusual. A ring of it formed around the back of the joint and the kneecap itself was had more metal strips merged with his flesh. He shrugged his shoulders to drop his raiment, leaving him only in the barest of coverings himself.
With her consent given, the knight nodded softly before placing his hands on directly on Amelia's rear. He'd literally dreamt of touching it for a long time now. He really had-he didn't know why he found a nice backside so fascinating, but he wasn't going to resist immediately finding out if the reality was as good as the fantasy. His touch was soft but insistent, fingers flexing gently as he held her close, lowering his chin to rest on her head.
Feeling that gently but strong rhythm within his chest, she couldn't resist pressing her lips over the area, feeling the beat pulse through her, able to both lull her to sleep and yet entice and enthrall her at the same time. She wasn't usually one to be full of herself, but there was the smallest inkling of pride within her as she listened to it, knowing she was making that heart beat in that manner.
Her eyes continued to wander as she took more of his physique in, her cheeks still warm the more she viewed, but enough to deter her. She did feel the urge to bury her head against him, both for affection and to hide her embarrassment, bringing herself as close as she could manage, humming at the warmth from their skin just brushing against each others through what little clothes were left.
Her breath notably hitched on feeling those hands on her rear. Being touched like that was one thing, but experiencing it in knowing it was being done by the person she cared for more than anything, it was enough to make her just about melt against his body. Even with her focused on those sensations, she somehow stepped out of the puddle of material at her feet, shivering at how his fingers carressed her skin. Feeling her legs shaking, she knew it was best they settle down more comfortably, in case her body collapsed due to the sensations. Gently, she tugged him further back, hoping he would understand without her needing to speak as she started to lower herself down onto the mattress.
So sorry, I could have sworn I replied to this!charge_swordDecember 21 2011, 12:16:42 UTC
Her knight followed her lead without hesitantion, lying her down with one hand remaining under her. He couldn't bring himself to let go of that perfectly appealing rear. His fingers gently kneaded at the soft body, bringing himself above her, raised at the waist to keep his weight off of her for now.
"Amelia...You're so beautiful," he muttered, taking advantage of the current pose to look down at her, drinking in everything he could see. His eyes were filled with endless and obvious awe and admiration, his free hand brushing hair from her face before resting on her cheek, stroking the skin with a warm hand.
