Jitters

Jitters
by me

it was humid.
oven hot.
beads of perspiration lined my upper lip.
flowing pink tube dress slightly dampened by the sweltering heat
sweat glands overworked.

I waited
in anticipation?
fear?
butterflies fluttering.
OOH I love butterflies!
flicked my hair
squared my shoulders
and waited.

moving languidly
like a predator stalking its prey
it came up to me.
apprehension gripped me.
i wonder how the male species feel when in control.
the sense of superiority.
i know its a male ego thing.
the purr leaves them breathless.
satisfaction. hmm..
smooth skin. whoa.

adrenaline rush when i gripped the handles.
jitters in my stomach..
this is the first time that im driving
me, controlling the go kart.

this is my second draft of d poem.. guys pls help me to critic.. if u wan.. haha.. MUACKZ!!
