Good News!
I got an email from Vicki today saying that she talked to Kim at CATO about me. She said that Kim sounded kind of new to the whole referencing thing. But when I read that Vicki talked to Kim, I didn’t care, and got really excited! So I decided to get dress and head over to CATO to talk to Kim in person about talking to Vicki.
When I got there, Kim seemed a bit surprised but happy to see me. I told her about the email from Vicki and asked if she got the information that she needed from her. She said yes and that everything was good and that the only thing she’s waiting on now is my background check.
I got really excited and told her how I really want to work here and Kim said that she’ll prolly get the results Monday and that she call me, and this is what she said: “…so I’ll call you after I find out the results so we can get you in here.” Doesn’t that sound like she wants me to work there? Oh I’m so happy! But I’m not going to get my hopes up, even though it’s looking really good. But lets hope and pray!!!
Kim thanked me for coming in and checking on that with her, I think she liked that I came in to talk to her instead of calling. I told her thanks and have a good day then left with a bounce in my step. (okay not really a bounce but you know people use that expression to show there happiness)
