My need for classes to start is getting worse and worse. But it's not just because I am super excited about classes themselves (although we all know I'm a nerd, so I'm a little excited, I'll admit), but other things that come along with them: everyone coming back to campus, Phi Sig stuff, Orange Pulse and my internship at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation starting. I'm going to meet with my supervisor sometime next week...I'm super excited about that!
This week has just been kind of a blur because I'm constantly trying to keep myself entertained at work for hours on end. And I have gotten addicted to watching the Olympics at night. Tuesday night, I chatted with Brendon on the phone...it was nice to catch up, especially since that was the most we'd actually talked since we were in Tilburg!
Wednesday some exciting things happened at work...our new computer got set up and my computer got a brand new, sexxy flat screen monitor so I can actually put things on my desk when I work there! And we got taken out to lunch at Faegan's because of the surplus in our budget...I had my first sonoma salad in forever and it was AMAZING.
Last night, Paul Hamm, whose my latest Olympic boyfriend, won the all-around gold in men's gymnastics. Oh how I love hot Olympic athletes! Oh and the American women won a relay and broke a super old world record, wahooo!
I finally found out today what grades I got for the classes I took last summer at Georgetown! I knew I had gotten at least C's since they transferred to SU, but I never saw the actual transcript. I wrote my recorder and asked and she said I got a A in Economics and a B+ in Ethics...I was glad because I'll have to send that transcript if I apply to grad schools.
My sister called me randomly today on my cell phone...she got her real driver's license! Yay...but scary that she can legally drive by herself! :P
It was cloudy outside all day and then it started POURING a little bit ago...boo on bad weather. I hope it clears up by the time I have to walk home...
Erin and I have a shopping trip planned to the mall this evening...yay for buying new jeans for school!
I can't stop eating Flips.
