Adam Wainwright was pitching a gem when his game got cancelled because of rain TABARNAC!!!
"Cardinals SP Adam Wainwright's potential win Monday against the Rockies has been erased from the record books. The game was postponed by rain Monday with the Cardinals leading 5-1 in the third inning. Wainwright allowed three hits and one walk in three innings before the game was called. He also struck out two. He was on track for the win, but will now have to wait until Saturday against the Nationals to make his first official start of 2008."
God damn... even mother nature doesn't want me to be successful in baseball pools!!!
Here's my roster to start the year. Player name ($ value and team). Please note that players with a "R" next to the dollar value are guys I re-signed for an extra $5 from their cost last season.

*Mark Prior is out until the end of May, so I will be able to claim another pitcher in his stead.
**Chase Headly is a top hitting prospect presently playing in AAA. He will be called up relatively quickly. I'm banking on him helping out my massive offense even more when it happens.
***Shawn Hill's first start will come in mid-April, once he's fully recovered from his arm troubles. Hopefully, he'll rebound and be a good one.
