Bah.
It's a lovely concept, save one little issue: I finally have an internal alarm clock. Oh, and it was just positive that everyone else was oversleeping.
By the by, it sounds an awful lot like one of those whiny children at the grocery store who beg their parents for everything and then fake a crying fit when they get told "No."
The snooze button, apparently, isn't a push type. It responds only to buttered toast. I think it watches too much 'Ed, Edd, and Eddy.' At least it's not eating yogurt out of anyones bellybutton. I'll thank the heavens for small miracles this morning.
Now that it's been appeased by the appearance of at least one other human and bread was sacrificed to the red-hot coil gods, it's tired. Isn't that always the way?
In case you might not have noticed, I am beginning to feel a bit more like "me" again. My body aches from scrubbing and tossing yesterday, but the house feels better. I kept my promises to the kids about Halloween (so far), I'm not tossing my cookies when I cry any longer- nor am I crying as often- and I have a few surprises up my sleeve for some people this week that will help to make me feel better. Doing things for other folk makes me happy.
Now, if someone would send my laundry Brownie home, I'd appreciate it. I bought the soy milk the bugger asked for since he's gone vegetarian on me (chocolate, too!), and there are about 6 loads of clothes in baskets awaiting my not-so-deft folding skills today. I told the kittens he is NOT a toy, and they promised to at least try and behave, so I could really use his help.
Happy Holloween. ;)
