Mechanical designer OCD dream
The one thing I absolutely love about my job designing Mechanical systems is that my OCD can thrive unrestrained. I’m forever fixing sloppy design work to a millimetre accuracy & precision. When everything just lines up to perfect symmetry, it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling of calm contentment. I can escape into the perfect order that I created, far away from the world of other people’s chaos. I know that everything lines up and connects flawlessly because *I* checked it and doubled checked it. At night I often dream about perfect symmetry. Everything has to be straight or perfectly curved, or I dread to think what might happen. *twitch*
I really need to seek help.
