Had my 12th Session with Paul Talbot on Saturday. Instead of a new piece we reworked both my sides and some of the script on my front, adding some realism to Chaos & Serenity’s faces. I am really pleased with how it’s coming along. Next up will be left upper shoulder black out base layer before bringing in the white negative faces features over it.
It was a looooooong day - 7 hours under the needle, a new personal best for me. I was struggling towards the end I have to admit but I am pleased as punch with the result. I’ve learnt that with Paul’s style you really just need to let him get on with it. People generally have a problem with giving up control when it comes to permanent art on skin, but let’s be honest - you won’t go and ask a plumber to fix your car. I went to him because I like his style. He is the artist and knows his style and technique best - now I just give him an idea and let him get on with it. He is in total control of content. That is how I know I get the best out of him. If Only I got just drop my pelt off and go to the pub while he works that would be ideal, but we can’t have it all now can we?
The first base layer on my ribs I was a little uncertain about, but now the second layer really makes things ‘pop’. Loving it.

Chaos - She looks a lot more pissed off now
No nipples were hurt in the making of this post. This is a lie.
