Stupid question of the day...

Why hasn't anyone written a manual on how to live before dying?

I ain't worried about the dying part - I probably won't even be aware of anything at that point. Just give me oxygen and drugs and let me go.

But this living until dying thing ... Holy Crap!

Someone needs to write the friggin' Manual!

I don't know anything about it, either. I sort of wonder, looking at the calendar, looking at things that my Dad left untouched the night he went to bed and then went to God, what he would have done that day had he known that it would be his last one on earth.

I think that you are living. You're living by loving and sharing and we're living with you. I think about you often and more so now because I catch myself staring at the doll on my desk and contemplating it. You're living not only right now but through all of us and we're living with you.

I agree with what Musique says about the QUALITY of life, not the quantity. I guess that's something that we all wrestle with or never think about until we can see the end on the horizon, but you know, I think you're doing wonderfully. You're still sharing and caring and making us laugh and loving. I think that's the most beautiful part about living.

Living before dying is about continuing life and the simplicity of every day and realising that you don't have to sprint through to the end, you just have to float, embrace each day, and live like you weren't allowed to live before.

*hugs*
