Gah!
I was walking over to Mrak to deal with some grading problem when a group of students on the back steps jumped me. I wasn't expecting it as they just seemed to be milling around and then they just kind of turned and the nearest one lunged at me. I tried to run into the building, but the door was locked for some reason and it looked like someone had done a number on the inside, overturning tables and strewing paper about. While I noticed this however, one of the stumbling students literally jumped on me and tried to bite my head. I threw him over my shoulder, turning so that he crashed into a couple buddies. I pushed another away from em and ran back over here. They followed for a bit, but gave up beating on the lab door. I think they might have gone to chase someone else. I heard a scream that I think came from the stairwells. I tried calling campus PD, but it just keeps kicking over to voice mail. Davis PD is busy, as is 911. What's going on?
As of right now I'm ok and locked in my lab. I'm looking out the windows and I see a couple other groups of students, even some profs or service workers maybe. I didn't get seriously hurt, just a scratch on my shoulder and a small cut on my head where the wacko tried to bite me. I think I dropped my cell phone when I got jumped and I don't have anyone's number. Does anyone know what's going on? Is this some kind of demonstration or attack? Frankly, I woke up hung over this morning and I'm not much in the mood to deal with this shit. I'm all alone in lab and dammit someone is pounding on the door again....leaving streaks of red on the window. It can't be blood, right?
Holy hell, what is going on? Is this really a zombie thing? I thought that was some kind of blogging joke or some stupid meme.
