Still with the Pandemic

Other than having a massive case of vaccine envy, not much is happening in my corner of the universe.  Never thought I'd wish I were five years older or in poor health.  However, right now, I'm five years too young and way healthier than any of the criteria for getting the damn vaccine.

Status: healthy
Life: in stasis
Garden: too cold really, but that hasn't stopped us from starting a bunch of veggies and flowers.
Knitting: sock the second of a pair.  Not really motivated to do much knitting, although I'd better find said motivation, as the WBH's birthday is next month and he always gets a pair of socks for his birthday.
Still weird: cannot buy a truck.  I've contacted the closest Toyota dealership, jumped through their hoops, refused to drive two hours to sit down with a slimy salesguy (I've met him.  He's slimy.), and not heard a thing in over a month.  Contacted the local Autohound person and have not heard anything except the "hihowareyou" email.
Fantasizing about traveling anywhere further than two hours away.
Reading:  I've ranted about a book to the Fabulous Connie.  Now feel better.  So love my local library, because I didn't pay money for it.  Currently reading a Tana French mystery.  Real prose and realistic characters.  I might swoon a bit.
Watching: Finally saw "Funeral in Berlin."  So sixties!  Watched a bunch of stuff on Netflix and promptly forgot most of it.
Listening: all the Bandcamp stuff I've been splurging on.  The pandemic has been very good for many musicians.  They might not be touring, but they're definitely recording.
Fretting: getting queries from agents about gigs starting in the fall.  Will it be safe?  Can I get a venue?  How do I check vaccination status of everyone who attends? Cross-posted from dreamwidth.org
