Big Disappointment
I'm really disappointed with my company. First they reduce the warehouse staff to a four-day work week to .... SAVE MONEY. Then after hearing this news, I check my e-mail, and the company is having a barbecue the next week. WTF?! You don't have parties, etc. when you're having to consider layoffs or reducing hours.
Why the fuck pick on the people that make the LEAST amount of money?! I have a few people on my list that make a crap load of money and STILL hasn't shown me what they do! I work my ass off doing three jobs (and I have the titles to prove it) and I see managers just sitting on their ass thinking up stupid shit to spend money!
I hope my company gets out of this slump. I hate having to worry if my job is on the line because of idiotic spending.
In other news, I got a Kindle 2 for my birthday. I haven't seen it yet, but I know it's around here somewhere. I can't wait to play with it!
