Joss loves VM + OTP meme
I knew it! I knew it! Joss loves VM! I knew that he would! (check Joss gush like a fangirl here) The fact he calls VM the BEST.SHOW.EVER makes my heart all bubbly cuz I know what he feels. Man, it would be so interesting to have a conversation with him about tv shows...his commentaries on his shows are my favourite from a creator (gosh, how I WISH I could hear RT comment on VM) and can you imagine what kinda stuff he would say in a VM convo? I really wonder who he ships? (Come on! It's gotta be L/V!) Who is his favourite character? What is his favourite episode? There may be one or two things that I disagree with him in regards to his choices for his own show but I love it when he goes all fangirly. It's great.
Secondly, grabbed this from carynsilver cuz I thought it was interesting.
*Number One OTP that is truly THE ONE TRUE PAIRING (withstanding the test of time and fandom whoring): I think it might be Lex/Lana because I have fought for them for so many years and despite all naysayers and such, I will always ALWAYS be rooting for them because they are pitch perfect for each other and no one can really convince me otherwise. The moment he first saw her in Metamophosis, that was it. I was GONE.
*Your OTP today: Logan/Veronica - That was dead easy. At this point in time with the state of tv shows and such, there is no other ship that fascinates me and that I love so much right now as these two. I actually need a L/V fix each day now. With other pairings, I never actively searched for fic everyday but it's like that with Logan/Veronica. They were the reason I got interested in VM and they will still be the number one reason I love that show (though I love every aspect of that show now).
*Baby's first OTP: Hmm, it might have been Zack/Kelly from SBTB but of course that was before I even understood what the hell OTP was and the whole idea of fandom and such. But yeah, it's so tried and true, forever.
*That Rare Pairing that you Love: Umm, who can count? LOL! I fandom so many crazy pairings now, it'll probably be rare if I actually shipped a CC couple, but I think one ship that people don't actually get from me is Lorelai/Dean - when I wrote Letting Go, people couldn't get over the age difference or the supposed legalities of them and Lex/Lana. Yes, I believe that Luke/Lorelai will end up together, but why is it so hard to believe that I think that Dean (Jared) has SO MUCH MORE chemistry with Lorelai rather than Rory? So what about the age? They are literally WHITE HOT together and every single one of their scenes together is memorable. I guess in my mind, Lorelai would teach that boy a thing or two about being with a real woman before settling down with Luke and having the perfect life. At least all that time spent with Rory wouldn't have been a total waste.
*OTP that you'd go to bat for in Wank Situation: Lex/Lana just because there is so much Lana hate and Chloe love (yes, Lana kinda sucked ass season 4) and I just can't stand the idea of Lana not growing up and growing beyond Clark. I really just want to whack her over the head sometimes at how ignorant she can be! Get it through your thick skull - Lex really loves you and he'll do anything for you! Why do you insist on going back to the dumbest guy in the world? Clark's pretty but so damn stupid!
*Number One Anti-OTP, the pairing you hate with a fiery passion: Once again, there are SEVERAL supposed OTPs that I would yank my hair out and run screaming in the other direction, but let me just say that The O.C. wins this category for constantly shoving down our throats two of the most annoying OTPs ever - Ryan/Marissa and Seth/Summer and this is coming from a person who was once charmed by them. My R/M fascination died out pretty quickly and S/S was DONE for me by S2. I blame this entirely on my UTTER hatred of both Marissa and Seth as characters. How could two characters that I love (namely Ryan and Summer) be so blinded by these two selfish, self-centered characters? Both of them could do much better than those two nitwits and I really don't understand why Josh Schwartz just keeps going back to them time and time again when it's UTTERLY BORING and the show has already jumped the shark already. Ryan/Summer please cuz this is getting ridiculous! P.S. - if you're going to make Marissa a lesbian, actually go through with it rather than have her toy with the pool boy and a girl as cool as Alex...same thing goes for Seth cuz who are you kidding. The boy is obviously gay. (I totally believe that Seth and Zach were in fact making out rather than fighting under that damn sheet.)
*Character you pair off with almost anyone: Probably Lorelai cuz I freaking love her with all my heart and any person would be lucky to be with her - she's fun, sexy and so damn hot!
