So not only is my Thursday night game switched to Wednesdays for a few weeks, it's location has changed as well. Don't know how long on the location change - though I must admit happiness that it's a mere five minutes from my current abode.

Other's not so much, but as we have all learned by now, it's all about me. Or honestly it really should be!:)

Second game went well. Once again I pulled off a magnificent one shot kill. This time an Ogre. I'm making the Barbarian in the group a little jealous because everyone has clapped at Little Tree's amazing fighting ability and referred to her as the lynch pin. In fact said Barbarian ran off after a foe in a crazy chase merely on principle. His anger had him smashing said foe to hamburger meat (which made it impossible to question said foe who was clearly a scout). He walked back to the group grumbling and limping, from a wire trap which he did not see (but my character did), and was particularly rude when my character sweetly and sincerely offered to help him by carrying him. I believe his response was "I hate you." Jealous Jayne is not a pretty look for you. :)

New goal: make Xander (not the kitty) leader of the group. He hasn't done that yet, and I can already see the fun in his frustration in dealing with a couple of the crazy characters in our group. Including Illyria who is basically playing a jerk! Not good when she's the only one that can speak elvish and we don't trust her translations with the enemy. Oh, she's not on their side, more like she'll tell us whatever she needs to make us attack them.

Illyria: *to elf* We are not dealing with you, you are garbage.
DM as Elf: Trade. The the shield for the axe.
Illyria: Oh we'll trade with you alright. How'd you like an axe to the forehead?
Xander: What are you saying to him?
Illyria: I just said "Hello."
Kaylee: That did not sound like "hello"! That sounded like a serious amount of sarcasm!!
Xander: I so need to learn Elven.

Awesomeness! Horrible being the clear thinking straight man isn't it?:)

My car did indeed start last night and I made it home. Not to be deterred that the Evil machine is merely luring me into a false sense of security I've made an appointment for next week to see about tempering the possession. Perhaps a string of garlic, or holy water, or salt, or whatever one uses for mechanical evils. I'd like to believe this was just an accidental fish, but somehow I can't be that lucky.

Oooh and fun with paychecks. With the take over officially on it's way it's a joy every other week to see just how the new company will screw up my (well most of ours) paychecks. The latest frack up is that my accrued vacation days are only 6.75 hours!!!! When we were promised to start out at the same vacation allotment that we had already accrued in our former barony.

Man, I'm mixing the metaphors today. Well, I'm mixing something..

work, illyria, evil-car, jayne, game, kaylee, xander
