Fun with Squirrels Part 2
I was reminded to mention another little Squirrel story that I think you will all like.
So, as I stated the other day the little squirrel fan club that I (and truthfully perhaps Xander & Riley acquired to a lesser degree) loved hanging out with us. Always running amok and have little rumbles and kicking up dust and you know..."Cheeto?".
Well Xander is his "brilliance" of cartoon logic decided to devised a trap. The old cardboard box propped up with a stick that has a string attached to it. As I recall from old Warner Bros. cartoons that this was a sure fire way to catch Bugs Bunny when it was baited with carrots.
So imagine this trap with a few nuts (nope, he didn't use cheetos - we were trying not give them too munch junk food. Not healthy you know!) to trap Fatty Squirrel.
Well apparently (go figure) this does not work as well in real life. Oh Fatty did dart in the trap and grabbed 2 out of 3 nuts and was out before Xander could even pull the string. After a few more failed attempts at capturing Fatty - and him happily munching away on his stolen treats from a distance Xander got upset and kicked the box over.
Then Fatty ran towards the box and climbed in.
And to quote Xander "Are you kidding me!??!"
