"A Unit of Measure, A Degree of Comfort"
Saw a few movies the last couple of days so here's my unsolicited opinion:
Quantum of Solace:
The new James Bond movie went pretty much as I expected - A whole lot of anger and 'inconsolable rage' (Really? Did some of you people not know what that quote referred to?) with Angel hopping up & down in his seat as he identified with Bond, James Bond. I just laughed at Cordy's "That's where that came from!!" & tried not to get to bruised as she hit me every time Mr. Bond blew up, killed, and destroyed pretty much everything/everyone he came in contact with. Not really a fan of 007 myself as he's a sexist bastard, but there's a reason why I like seeing these movies. Mostly to smack a certain someone when he says "Man talk Baby" *clap, clap*.
Sid & Nancy:
With my Punk/Music education being furthered by Xander he decided it was time to see this movie. I read & finished a book while watching the movie and every now and again asked "Is she dead yet?". Wow. Talk about a volatile relationship. I'm not saying the movie was bad, but if that movie is even half way accurate it's a good thing that those two did not procreate. Those were two annoying horribly stupid people. Also, I think I may be a better bass player than Sid Vicious. Then again, so may my cats.
Transporter 3:
This movie did exactly what I suspected it would. Found some convoluted reason for Jason Statham to strip down during a fight sequence. He wasn't oiled up this time, but if it happend I would not have been surprised. Nothing else needs be said. Well done.
