Buffy's Surprise Party!
The surprise party brunch that Anya set up for Buffy worked out splendidly on Sunday. You have no idea how hard it can be to get something by that girl! Last time we tried this she started recognizing every car in the parking lot when we took her to restaurant. This time, she was truly surprised!
It was a lot bigger than Anya originally planned. But it was nice to see a few people that I hadn't seen in a while. Giles, Doyle, Glory & Chef, etc.
I swear Giles is a hobbit though. The amount of food he ate at brunch (it was a buffet) was ridiculous! He even when back for thirds to have a Belgium waffle. We started joking about "elevensis" and "second breakfast". He started complaining that he hadn't eaten since last night and Dolye started yelling that no one else had and that he know had to go get a waffle so he wouldn't feel like a sally!:) He so regretted eating that waffle.
Luckily we still got our Laotong time later that afternoon sitting on Buffy's porch, eating a chocolate cake and just girly bonding. We had kicked all the guys out by then :)
Let's see what else happened? Ah yes, the EOS event was this weekend and oh my god was the weather gorgeous for once!! Spring.. are you really here? Don't tease me, I'm gonna need you for next weekend too.
My Mom called to tell me my brother got engaged while on vacation - one assumes with his girlfriend, not someone he met in Mexico :) Holy crap - I'm gonna have a sister!!
I had both (for various reasons) Willow & Wesley tell me that they hated me so much over this past weekend. Win for me!!:)
