I am Beowulf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So my weekend consisted of seeing Beowulf! (Angel's on reprieve cause of all the bad movies he's picked lately for us to see - my opinion bad movies. It's like he doesn't know me sometimes:).
It wasn't that the movie was bad or anything. Just not sure what the point of having it be an animated film was. Considering how awesome Lord of the Rings turned out and this one could have been done on a smaller budget. Though all in all entertaining.
Especially every time he screamed out "I am Beowulf". I commented that he probably screams that out when he orgasms. Bold move saying your own name. Angel almost chocked on his soda. :)
Rest of the weekend was spent hanging out with Buffy and going to a western theme birthday party. I gotta say Birthday boy does throw some cool parties! He did his house up Saloon style. Had little signs hanging on his wall. Set up a craps & roulette table in the living room. And a Blackjack table in the kitchen. There were gunfights on the porch (using action balls) and some whiskey.
I spent most of the evening at the Craps table. Doing a lot better than I've done at a real casino lately (though much fun it was sad that I didn't do that well when I was playing with real money). I almost wiped out - but then I got back into the game. It was so much fun!!
I walked into the kitchen at one point to see Buffy playing Blackjack (her game) and then later I walked back to see that she had taken over as dealer. Girl loves her Blackjack!
At the end - besides the birthday boy, it was me, Willow, Giles, Doyle, Riley & Darla dancing around to some music (non-western themed).
It was a lot of fun. Plus it got me to dust off my Atlas 2 larp gear and if anything I'm all about the accessories.
