Laotong craziness!

With Anya's kids at Grandparents and Buffy's hubby not crazy busy all weekend per usual we had us a girls night out last Saturday.

Love the kids (Beans is finally warming up to me!) but sometimes they forget that Buffy, Anya, and I are bestest friends and we like to hang out with each other without them. It's not always all about them. It sometimes about us!:)

So taking advantage of a free night we tried to fit in as many things as possible. Unfortunately we were thwarted by fate in some circumstances. I (easily) convinced Buffy to go trapeze-ing and we (not so easily) got Anya to agree to go as well but the place was closed for a private affair that night (Bummer).

But we still managed to have fun, first attempting to expose our artistic side by doing a little pottery painting (crazy I know but it was the warm up). Then dinner at a fantastic Japanese steakhouse that involved a ginormous Scorpion Bowl (Do they come in any other size?) and Sake (Oy!). Perhaps not a wise idea to start off with such strong alcohol and no food in our systems but luckily by the time dinner was done some of us calmed down from our drunken shenanigans. (Some)

I *might* have made a drunken phone call. Okay we might have all made some drunken phone calls.

Then we drove around trying to find something to do once we found out that trapezing was out of the question. A few calls and stops made us realize that we couldn't find a Karaoke bar anywhere close by - we even called up Dolye to search the internet for us. Tried to call up Riley - but no such luck - as we were up in Nashua at one point. Damn if we were going to give up so easily, we were going to find something to do dammit!! Finally we settled on Atomic bowling and called Doyle back to join us.

I'm much better at Wii bowling than I am in real life sadly. Wii remote does not get heavy after a while. And I'm way better at picking up the spare in the game too. Ah well.

A fun evening was most definitely had. There was topics of conversation which I won't go into here (neener neener) that still have us giggling. Dinner was hysterical!

Next time though we'll make sure we know where the heck a Karaoke bar is and that the Trapeze is available. If not Buffy says she knows a place that does indoor skydiving!!!

How cool is that!

Love you Laotong!
