Premonitions

If you've ever read Michael Crichton's novel "Next", this court case should come as no surprise;

Edit for clarification: This article concerns the patenting of gene sequences. Such patents have been granted (in my opinion) in gross disregard for the constitution's barring of patents for naturally occurring processes. Like God says, these companies should make their own dirt.
(does that last line make sense?)

Further note: I haven't been able to pull up a name, but a Democrat appeared on "On The Record" with Great Van Susteren tonight who actually had an idea I've yet to hear from anyone else- remove the Federal laws that allow insurers and 'big pharma' to operate monopolies and abuse Medicare Pt. D. Wow, common sense. Who would have thought? Now I've got to go track down his name.

I'm on a silent kick, so this is dead space for a few days. Probably get back to it next week... But I want to prove to myself that I can adhere to a regular update schedule.
