Hello all,
Yes, it's still Jim.We are at the "Release + 1 week" milestone and the picture is mixed. The good news is that Louise was out of bed for 2 hours yesterday and ate solid food with a lot of enjoyment, but not like a trencherman. I did sea scallops with home fries for dinner (enough with the broth!). She is to begin PT and OT as soon as feasible.
Unfortunately, the recovery is much more gradual than we anticipated. She remains weaker than Fuzzball the kitten and isn't posting herself until she is further along the recovery path. Rest assured that she sees all your notes on this page, either via printout or laptop, but she remains in read only mode. She thanks you all for the notes and your good wishes and I hope will do so herself before too much longer. We are told that this recovery may take a month or more, Let's hope she beats the estimate. I'd also like to add my personal thanks for all your good wishes. They are her link to the world just now ! I will post again in a few days with the latest news. Best regards
