If anyone missed the stellar episode of Thank God You're Here (season finale!) tonight, you can download it for free at ten.com.au/thankgod. Oh it was so good. Shaun Micallef, Angus Sampson and Frank Woodley. Actually they had five people on tonight but Akmal Saleh was pretty average (although fair enough, the scene wasn't much more than a series of questions and answers with only one ensemble cast member) and Kate Langbroek was extremely flat, answering most of her prompts with "I don't know", "What do you think?", "What did you say to them?" and variants thereof. The final scene was fantastic, although it really cut down on the performers working off each other (they were all in separate rooms).

But at least they finally acknowledged the brilliant ensemble cast! Especially this guy, Ed Kavalee. Who just seems so incredibly SWEET. All of them are fantastic improvisers - apparently all snatched up from the Sydney improv community. Nikki Parry and Daniel Cordeaux were even on the NSW team for the national theatresports championships. They're always funny but don't take the limelight, flawlessly remember and improvise lines naturally and confidently, and gently push the scene in the right direction - whether it's bringing a gaggy attention hog back to earth or helping out a quieter contestant.

Ok back to Crim. I need chocolate!
