The ___ indicates the end of one poem and the begining of the next.

Please, please please, be honest, tell me which one you like best and why. I have to mail one into a contest by Sunday and I don't know which one I like best = /
This is where my friend (you) come in and give me criticism, compliments, complaints, advice, anything at all. Pretty please? = ) None have titles, that's just me though. *shrugs*

It’s just a game

It’s all a game to you

You tell her that you love her

Then she has to lose you

She moves on like you were never there before

The scars are there for you to see

They show you how much you hurt her

And just how cruel love can be

You walk around to the next girl

And play the same game over again

She would die for you, do anything

The love she gave you meant absolutely nothing

One day you’ll find out

What it felt like to be her

You’ll feel the pain she did and see
How cruel love can be

She bent her head
He cupped her face

She fell into his warm embrace

He loves her

She loves him

That’s how its always been

He kissed her lightly

She kissed him back

They both knew their love would last

She looked at him longingly

He hoped she would never leave

She was there to stay night and day

Their love was strong

They would carry on
Always and Forever

I knew something sooner or later had to go wrong

So as of now I sing a sad song

Life isn’t perfect, nor will it ever be

So perfect-
Imperfectly

Life goes on

We carry on

It’s just another day

The clock ticks on

The hands go ‘round

Time flies away

Days end, nights begin

It happens over and over again

They cycle keeps turning

We never stop yearning
Life will eventually end

The sound of music ringing through my ears

The sound of pattering rain hitting the window pane

The night is cold

The day grows old

As I sit here lonely again

Lightning strike, thunder crashes

Perfect, life, clashes

The sun goes down, night comes around

I sit up awake again

It’s dark around me

The night surrounds me

The light will never shine again

I close my eyes and try to disguise-

Disguise how I really feel

The music grows louder and intensifies

Then dies down to a soft whisper

The night grows old, they day unfolds

Life beholds my destiny
The music ends, life pretends, nothing happened to me.

The bright moon light shines radiantly

The moon beams cascade through my window

And dance across the floor

Through the glass I see-

I see a sparkling eternity laid out before me

The lake water glimmers

The river runs on

The moon fades away
Then does come day

_______________________________________________________________________

A rain drop falls down the window pane

As a tear drop caress the cheek it trickles down

It goes unnoticed until the moon light shines across the face it defiles

A hand reaches up and clears the tear that dare leave a trace on her pretty face

The girl looks up and sees him standing there, his hand still in place

She clings to him as he wraps her up in his warm, loving embrace

The rain drops continue down the window pane, never to be erased
The tear drops cease, but only ‘till he’s gone away

I sit in my home

Freezing and alone

I find it so hard to get by

Without you by my side

I need your love

I need your hope

Without you I feel as if I’m broke

One day you’ll see

How much you truly meant to me

Until then I bid you farewell

I turn and look away

The sight of you going only tortures and tortured soul more

My heart is in pieces lying on the floor

All because you walked out the door

I sit in my home
Freezing and alone

The deluge washes over me

I feel myself being purged of impurity

All the things I have said and done

Was away with ever rising sun

I look to the sky,

The clouds are not clearing

I talk to people,

But they aren’t hearing

The storm charges on

Leave it’s destruction behind

One day someone will come and find
What’s left of what was once beautiful-divine

My hands are like ice

My heart’s freezing over

The rain pours down as it’s getting colder

Slowly it gets harder to breathe

I see the light before me

It shines brighter with each full moon

The days go by, morning, night and noon

The clouds hide the sky

It’s getting harder to see

To see what lies before me

It gets dark outside

Will it ever be light again

Or am I just too blind to see

To see what’s right in front of me

The days go by, weeks, months, years

Still nothings changed my dear

I just wish you could see
See what you’ve made me

The wind caresses my face

Dark clouds are blowing over

A whistling noise fills my ears

Rustling in the corner

Ripples in the water

As rain falls from the sky

My heart beats faster

As lightning occupies my eyes

The bright glint of light comes and goes

Touching down somewhere over the rainbow

Consequently thunder deafens those nearby

Also catching me by surprise

The winds die down

It’s still dark over

The water becomes still
And the night tranquil
