Updates wheee
So.... stuff, yeah.
Writing: About halfway through (though the bits keep changing in size, so one part might be ridiculously shorter than the previous one) the current toe-biting TW bunny I'm working on just now. Sixteen pages, 7000+ words and only halfway in the plot.... I think this bodes well :D Hopefully people will want to read it!
Gaming: Yes! I AM USING MY PSP PROPERLY FOR GAMES AND WHAT NOT!!
Is it just me or do I recall games in this series where you could, oh I don't know, collect items to use for later like food and ups for magic, etc etc etc. Rather than flailing along with Richter as he tries to fight a god-awful amount of monsters on one wee life bar that you're lucky to break a nearby column and find a giant pot roast of life (Note: These columns/bundles of rock are few and far between).
Stage 5? I hate you so much it hurts my teeth :D
The painting that if you touch it, it eats you, and just kills you without any chance to escape=sucks but after a while you get the hang of dodging it's flailing about.
Ghost pirates? Fun in theory. Not fun when the main ghost pirate flings dozens of sickles at you while you're attempting to hit him, then after you hit him enough and attempt NOT to die all the while, he will throw giant skulls at you, and THEN he will take his glowing Deathscythe Hell scythe to come cut your lifebar down in two hits. Yes, yes stage five and I are not exactly friends but I still beat that bloody pirate down and did a little dance :D
Stage 6? What's that Shaft, oh poorly named priest of Dracula? Huh? I have to fight a giant bat, a giant medusa, and a mummy one after the other with only one life bar and limited power-ups while they hurl things at you that follow you around the board unless you can hit them? Huh? Medusa's snakes are exactly the color of the background so it's really hard to hit them, what?
*shakes fist at Medusa*
Though props to the Mummy cause he throws bandages at you and then hurls giant boxes which smash you into the wall until you die. Pretty cool all in all.
I will best that game even if it's the end of my thumbs :D
