Dear Lj,
I am sooo overwhelmed with mixed emotions I cannot begin to explain,
but I will anyway. lol
John's first case- closed!
He got no conviction on his record and 2 years administrative probation.
John's first case- closed!
The piece of shit that shot him, pleaded guilty and took the plea offer!
7 years in jail, 7 years probation, he has to pay ALL of John's medical bills, and restitution costs.
I've decided that no dollar amount can really be given for the restitution costs..
No one can really say what costs we may face..
And no one will ever understand what we are going through every single day..
And most importantly what he goes through.
Our lives changed on Septemeber 3, 2007..
BUT for the better.
We were all given the opportunity to look at life in another light and take advantage of all the wonderful things God has for us.
Very simply.. I'm suing the fuck out of that fucker.
I wish him nothing but the best, but he will pay for what he's done.
And on my side..
My case- closed! Yaaay..
John's abuelo saved my ass.. lolol
Last but not least..
We will never know why people make certain choices, but we can only hope for the best outcome.
Life may have taken us on seperate journeys,
things may have been different,
but we will always keep you and your family in our prayers.
Frank, may you rest in peace.
I can only hope that this makes John stronger..
that he realizes how lucky he is..
In the last couple of months, not even a year..
We've lost 3 friends..
It would've been 4, but God spared John's life.
And i know it was for a very important reason.

I hate to believe four people have died, but they have...
because a new life was given to John.
I can only hope people learn.. hopefully sooner than later.
